Surrounded by wide-open fields, rolling hills, groomed riding trails and babbling brooks, Rancho De Los Amigos is a beautiful horse boarding facility located on Cull Canyon Road in Castro Valley, California. An inviting retreat from the active metropolitan areas of San Francisco’s East Bay, our private, secure horse boarding facility is five miles out of town, but is easily accessible from Highway 580.

A welcoming community, we strive to provide the highest quality of care for your horse. Our horse boarding barns are safe, spacious MD Barns, which we meticulously maintain to ensure the safety and comfort of horses in our care. Solidly constructed, MD Barns are chew-proof, kick-proof, offer exceptional fire and earthquake resistance and stand-up to harsh weather. Well-ventilated and naturally bright, horses thrive in our comfortable barns. Each stall features an automatic waterer, feed windows, feeders, rubber mats, a well-sheltered or enclosed stall, an attached paddock, and a fly spray system.

We offer a variety of standard and optional horse boarding services that allow you to tailor your horse’s care. From turnouts, to graining services, and blanketing, we help you maintain optimal horse care despite your busy schedule. For those wishing to advance their riding skills, we have three combined training/ three-day eventing instructors, a hunter/jumper trainer, and a lesson program. In addition, through our Five Mile Equestrian Events, we offer regular dressage and jumping clinics, schooling shows and horse trials.

All guests must contact management prior to haul in for required health and shot records, and required forms. To protect the health and safety of the horses boarded in our facility, we must receive all forms before we allow horses onto the property.

* We maintain a top-notch horse boarding facility. To protect and maintain our facility so horses are safe for years to come, we require a full month board as deposit prior to moving into our facility. This deposit includes a $150 cleaning deposit. When your horse leaves RDLA, we will deduct the cleaning deposit in order to prepare the stall for the next horse. If your horse has damaged their stall beyond the usual wear and tear, we may retain additional money from the deposit as needed to repair the stall. This policy is in place to ensure the longevity and standard of horse boarding services boarders expect from RDLA.
