Clinics & Events

Rancho De Los Amigos is home to Five Mile Equestrian Lessons and Events. Five Mile Events include clinics, schooling shows, horse trials and combined training competitions. Organized by Kathy Gilliland, of Dream Team Eventers and one of Rancho De Los Amigos resident trainers, Five Mile riding events are perfect for schooling young horses or developing riders.

We regularly host dressage and jumping clinics in addition to our events. Events run throughout the year and are open to the public. We welcome haul-ins and encourage trainers to bring their students for a fun, exciting day of schooling.

EVENT CALENDAR:

January 12 - Dressage Clinic/Competition. Ride at test twice. Judge Joan Williams.

January 20 - Jump A Round Day. Schooling only. Classes from polls to 3ft 9 inches.

February 3 - Jump A Round Day. Second show same as above.

March 16 - Combined Test. Elemental – Prelim

May 4 - Combined test. Elemental – Prelim

June 8 - One Day Summer Horse Trials. Divisions Elemental to Intro to Training

July 6 - Holiday One Day Horse Trials

August 24 - Back To School One Day Horse Trials

September 14 - Fall One Day Horse Trials

November 2 - Last Chance One Day Horse Trials
